Laura Hieronymus, MSEd, APRN, BC-ADM, CDE, has been a diabetes educator for over 20 years, with experience ranging from pediatrics to senior care. She was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as a teen in 1974 and has maintained good health since. She has authored or co-authored a number of diabetes-related publications, including the American Diabetes Association’s 101 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy with Diabetes.
Patti Geil, MS, RD, FADA, CDE, has more than 25 years of experience in diabetes care and education.
