Description What is mindful
eating? It is a solution to forever deal with overeating, eating
disorders and food issues. Mindful eating is an important practice that
rewires the client’s attitude and approach to eating. It trains the
individual to be fully attentive and engaged with eating stimuli (i.e.,
appearance, taste, aroma, texture, feelings, attitudes), making it a
fully satiating experience.
Philosophies help the client recognize hunger versus appetite,
physiological need versus emotional want, and other personal food
patterns and habits.
